The G Scale Society was founded in 1987 and now has over 1400 members in the UK and overseas. It caters for all modellers working in G Scale and has a liberal approach, believing that enjoyment is just as important as rivet-counting, but with no bias in either direction. The G Scale Society now has a Facebook group called G Scale Society on Facebook. The aim of creating this group is to open up a 2-way communication channel with the membership of the Society. The Society Events Dairy is now probably the largest ever produced and extends to 7 pages of 2 columns.
